China’s wearable device market shipped 28.57 million units in Q2

IDC recently launched a report on the Chinese wearable gadget market. According to the report, wearable deliveries in the second quarter of 2022 had a 23.3% year-on-year decrease to 28.57 million systems.
The headset market shipped 16.18 million systems in the 2nd quarter of 2022, down 23.2% year-on-year. Likewise, the shipment of true cordless earphones was 12.73 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 22.1%.
The smartwatch market shipped 8.46 million units in the 2nd quarter of 2022, down 12.3% year on year. Among them, there were 4.23 million units of adult watches, a year-on-year decline of 14.5%. Deliveries of childrens watches were 4.24 million units, a year-on-year decline of 10.0%.
When it comes to the smart band market, it ships 3.83 million units in the second quarter of 2022, down 40.2% year on year.
